Testimone dell'emergere dell'industria del vetro all'inizio del secolo scorso e costruito dall'architetto Emile Claes, il Varia teatro ha una fisionomia particolare: con le sue tre cupole decorate con maschere aggrottate che puntano verso il cielo, con la sua ampia facciata accentuata da alti pilastri coronati da sfere e le linee arrotondate della cima delle facciate, ricorda la Secessione viennese. Sospeso nel 1986, è stato classificato dal 1992 per il suo involucro esterno.
