Il Vecchio Castello di Petegem è un castello a Petegem-aan-de-Schelde. In passato era un castello circondato da un fossato situato sulla riva sinistra di un meandro del fiume Schelda ora reciso.
Durante i primi secoli medievali qui si trovava la rovina di uno dei castelli più antichi delle Fiandre. Un diploma donato da Carlo il Calvo nel 864 indica che questa fortezza era abitata dai re franchi della seconda dinastia. Guglielmo di Dampierre ristrutturò la storica fortezza in un castello.
