Il Fort 1 è l'unico Brialmontfort completamente scomparso. È stato fatto saltare in aria nel 1959 per rettificare la Turnhoutsebaan. Nel 1993, sulla metà meridionale della superficie fortificata, è sorto il Wijnegem Shopping Center. La parte settentrionale ha avuto un nuovo utilizzo come area boschiva.
