La splendida porta d'ingresso dell'edificio ricorda che un tempo qui c'era un relais postale. Fu fondato nel 1789 da Antoine Gillard. I cocchieri che trascorrevano la notte nell'osteria ne approfittavano per cambiare i cavalli. Dopo essere stata famosa per la sua cucina locale per due secoli, il sito è stato recentemente trasformato in camere per gli ospiti.
L'aspetto attuale lo ha ricevuto nel XIX secolo, quando il telaio a vista è scomparso dietro uno strato di intonaco.
