A Vreden, in Kirchplatz 14, si trova il nuovo centro culturale e storico „kult – Cultura e tradizione vivente del Westmünsterland“, concepito e costruito congiuntamente dal distretto di Borken e dalla città di Vreden nell'ambito della „Regionale 2016“.

È l'istituzione succedente del Museo Hamaland e dell'Istituto di Studi Regionali. Sono stati aggiunti i documenti storici del distretto di Borken e della città di Vreden.
