In Vreden, at Kirchplatz 14, stands the new cultural and historical center "kult - Culture and Living Tradition Westmünsterland," which was conceived and built jointly by the Borken district and the city of Vreden as part of the "Regionale 2016."
The new cultural and historical center "kult - Culture and Living Tradition Westmünsterland," jointly conceived and built by the Borken district and the city of Vreden as part of the "Regionale 2016," was opened in the summer of 2017.
It is the successor institution to the Hamaland Museum and the Regional Studies Institute. Newly added are the historical archives of the Borken district and the city of Vreden.
