In Vreden, op Kirchplatz 14, staat het nieuwe cultuurhistorische centrum „kult – Cultuur en levendige traditie Westmünsterland”, dat gezamenlijk door de Kreis Borken en de stad Vreden is ontworpen en gebouwd in het kader van de „Regionale 2016”.
Het nieuwe cultuurhistorische centrum „kult – Cultuur en levendige traditie Westmünsterland”, dat gezamenlijk door de Kreis Borken en de stad Vreden is ontworpen en gebouwd in het kader van de „Regionale 2016", werd in de zomer van 2017 geopend.
Het is de opvolger van het Hamaland-Museum en het Landeskundige Instituut. Nieuw toegevoegd zijn de historische archieven van de Kreis Borken en de stad Vreden.
