In Vreden, am Kirchplatz 14, steht das gemeinsam vom Kreis Borken und von der Stadt Vreden im Rahmen der „Regionale 2016“ konzipierte und gebaute neue kulturhistorische Zentrum „kult – Kultur und lebendige Tradition Westmünsterland“.
Das gemeinsam vom Kreis Borken und von der Stadt Vreden im Rahmen der „Regionale 2016" konzipierte und gebaute neue kulturhistorische Zentrum „kult – Kultur und lebendige Tradition Westmünsterland" am Kirchplatz 14 wurde im Sommer 2017 eröffnet.
Es ist die Nachfolgeeinrichtung des Hamaland-Museums und des Landeskundlichen Instituts. Neu hinzugekommen sind die historischen Archive von Kreis Borken und Stadt Vreden.
