L'isola delle berte, chiamata anche Berteberg, è un'isola nella Piccola Breite, la parte più occidentale della Schlei. Appartiene alla città di Schleswig ed è un'area protetta per gli uccelli.
L'isola è grande 2,3 ettari e alta fino a cinque metri. Due cordoni litorali si estendono verso nord-est e sud-est. La profondità dell'acqua tra l'isola delle berte e la terraferma più vicina, a 250 metri più a nord, le Königswiesen vicino al centro storico di Schleswig sulla riva nord della Schlei, è di soli un metro.
