Il Modellbahnwelt Oberhausen era una mostra permanente di ferromodellismo nella “Nuova Centro Oberhausen”, direttamente presso la Heinz-Schleußer-Marina, a est dell'area del CentrO, lungo l'autostrada 42. L'impianto è stato aperto ai visitatori il 1 agosto 2008 e ha mostrato su 420 m² di superficie dell'impianto motivi della regione della Ruhr dal 1965 al 1970. Nel palazzo ha ospitato un museo di spionaggio TOP SECRET da aprile 2012 a maggio 2015.
