Il ginnasio municipale Nepomucenum è stato fondato nel 1627 dai gesuiti. Nell'agosto 2014 circa 850 studenti sono istruiti da 70 insegnanti. Così, il Nepomucenum è il ginnasio più grande della città, davanti al ginnasio municipale Heriburg di Coesfeld e al ginnasio vescovile di San Pio di Coesfeld. Il nome è dedicato a san Giovanni Nepomuceno, tra l'altro patrono del segreto della confessione. La direttrice della scuola è Angela Bülo.
