Il Kulpenberg, con i suoi 473,6 m s.l.m., è la cima più alta del massiccio del Kyffhäuser vicino a Rathsfeld nel distretto di Kyffhäuser in Turingia. Ha una sommità piatta e arrotondata di poco più di 20 m di altezza.
Il Kulpenberg si trova nella parte centrale del massiccio del Kyffhäuser nel parco naturale Kyffhäuser. Si trova tra la rovina del castello di Rothenburg, situata a nord-ovest dell' città principale di Kelbra, e Rathsfeld, una frazione di Steinthaleben, a sud, e il monumento di Kyffhäuser a est. Poco a nord-est della montagna passa la strada federale 85.
