De Kulpenberg is met 473,6 m boven NAP de hoogste oprijzing van het Kyffhäusergebergte nabij Rathsfeld in de Kyffhäuserkreis in Thüringen. Hij heeft een vlakke, afgeronde top van iets meer dan 20 m hoogte.
De Kulpenberg ligt in het midden van het Kyffhäusergebergte in het natuurpark Kyffhäuser. Hij bevindt zich tussen de bij de kernstad van Kelbra gelegen kasteelruïne Rothenburg in het noordwesten en Rathsfeld, een deelgemeente van Steinthaleben, in het zuiden en het Kyffhäusermonument in het oosten. Iets ten noorden tot oosten van de berg loopt de federale weg 85.
