Il Breite Weg è una strada nel centro storico di Magdeburgo. In passato, il Breite Weg era considerata la più bella strada barocca della Germania grazie ai suoi generosi palazzi e case borghesi in stile barocco. Durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, la strada barocca fu ampiamente distrutta.
La principale via commerciale della città di Magdeburgo si estende in direzione nord-sud e si trova tra il piazzale dell'Università di Magdeburgo a nord e il piazzale Hasselbach a sud. La grande strada un tempo passava attraverso la Porta di Sudenburgo verso Sudenburg.
