La stazione di Riegel-Malterdingen è una piccola stazione di raccordo nel nord del distretto di Emmendingen, nel comune di Malterdingen, immediatamente al confine comunale con Riegel am Kaiserstuhl. È stata inaugurata il 1° agosto 1845 con il tratto da Offenburg a Friburgo della ferrovia della Valle del Reno. Dal 1894 qui devia la ferrovia Kaiserstuhl della allora Süddeutsche Eisenbahn-Gesellschaft verso Endingen, dalla quale a Riegel Ort si dirama un ramo sul lato orientale del Kaiserstuhl verso Gottenheim, mentre l'altro dal 1895 porta a Breisach nel lato occidentale della montagna.
