La Pinge di Altenberg è una pinge risultante dall'estrazione mineraria dello stannolite ad Altenberg nei Monti Metalliferi. La frattura principale si verificò nel 1620. Ancora all'inizio del XIX secolo, la pinge occupava solo un'area di circa 2,5 ettari. In particolare, a partire dal 1976, è stata notevolmente ampliata a causa dello sfruttamento intensivo dei minerali. Oggi ha un diametro di circa 400 m, una profondità di circa 130 m e un'area di circa 12 ettari.
La pinge e alcuni impianti minerari ad essa associati fanno parte del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO della regione mineraria dei Monti Metalliferi. È stata insignita nel 2006 come uno dei 77 geotopi nazionali più significativi.
