L'area protetta Badraer Lehde-Großer Eller si trova nel distretto di Kyffhäuser, in Turingia, a est di Badra e a nord-ovest di Steinthaleben, entrambi frazioni del comune di Kyffhäuserland. A nord-ovest dell'area si snoda la strada statale L 1040 e si estende l'area protetta di 541,5 ha Schloßberg - Solwiesen. Poco a sud scorre il torrente Badraer Bach, a nord si trova il confine statale con la Sassonia-Anhalt.
L'area di 81,9 ha composta da due sottoaree con numero NSG 316 è stata messa sotto protezione nel 1997.
