Wessenstedt, nel mezzo della Heide di Lüneburg, è una frazione di Natendorf con circa 150 abitanti, che a sua volta fa parte della Samtgemeinde Bevensen-Ebstorf nel distretto di Uelzen, Bassa Sassonia.
Wessenstedt è diventata famosa per un cimitero di urne scoperto nei pressi del villaggio. I contenitori trovati hanno servito agli archeologi per datare una delle quattro fasi dell'età del ferro, geograficamente situata nel Nord di Hannover, chiamata "fase di Wessenstedt".
