Schwanenberg è una frazione della città di Erkelenz nella pianura bassa del Niederrhein, situata vicino alla città di Mönchengladbach. Fino alla riorganizzazione comunale nel 1972, Schwanenberg era un comune autonomo che includeva le frazioni di Lentholt, Grambusch, Genhof e Genfeld – quest'ultima frazione solo per metà. Anche questi villaggi vicini sono qui presentati.
