Langbroich si trova circa quattro chilometri a nord di Gangelt lungo le strade provinciali 3 e 17. Nei pressi del paese si trova, lungo il Saeffeler Bach, la riserva naturale Höngener- und Saeffeler Bruch.
In caso di forti piogge e durante lo scioglimento della neve, le acque superficiali della zona di Langbroich scorrono nel Saeffeler Bach e poi proseguono attraverso il Rodebach fino alla Mosa. Il Saeffeler Bach ha una lunghezza di 12,747 km e un'area di drenaggio totale di 47,479 km².
La sorgente del Saeffeler Bach originariamente sgorgava a Langbroich nell'area della biforcazione tra Quellstraße e Brauereistraße.
