Lasciamo il pittoresco villaggio di Rimburg sulla sinistra e oltrepassiamo direttamente il confine (ponte) per fare questa bella escursione lungo il fiume di confine in Germania. Passiamo accanto al villaggio scomparso dove ora c'è solo una lapide a ricordare questo borgo, Finckenrath. Facciamo una piccola deviazione per vedere i diversi strati del terreno delle sponde del Wurm e l'area di nidificazione di molti uccelli acquatici e naturalmente del castoro!
