Il castello di Polop è una fortezza di origine musulmana costruita all'inizio del XII secolo che si trova su una collina accanto alla popolazione.
Di pianta quasi circolare, adattata alla cima della collina su cui si trova, contava con due recinti di piccole dimensioni, conservandosi tratti di mura in muratura e tapial, sebbene del recinto esterno rimangano scarse tracce essendo stato utilizzato come accesso al vecchio cimitero situato all'interno.
