Tamaríu[1] è un'entità di popolamento o frazione spagnola appartenente al comune di Palafrugell. Si trova nella comarca del Baixo Ampurdán, provincia di Girona, nella sua zona costiera situata nella piena Costa Brava, in una baia pronunciata fiancheggiata da formazioni di ortosa a nord e roccia calcarea a sud. La spiaggia è composta principalmente da sabbia a grana grossa e ghiaia di ortosa.
