Ex palazzo vescovile, questo grande edificio settecentesco, progettato dai fratelli Brousseau, contiene alcuni veri e propri tesori. Dopo essere stato temporaneamente adibito a caserma e poi a ospedale, le sue decorazioni sono state restaurate dopo il Concordato (1802) e completate nel corso del XIX secolo. La cappella, ad esempio, ha conservato l'altare sormontato dal dipinto di Suvée raffigurante San Luigi che venera le reliquie della Passione nella cornice scolpita da Babel (1772), ma nella seconda metà del XIX secolo ha ricevuto un tabernacolo neoromanico, arazzi, un tappeto Aubusson e vetrate.
la collezione di smalti, unica al mondo (smalti di rame champlevé del Medioevo, smalti dipinti del Rinascimento, smalti art-déco e contemporanei), dipinti impressionisti e oggetti provenienti dalle profondità del tempo (da Limoges gallo-romana all'antico Egitto) sono tutti esposti gratuitamente.
