Aperto a tutti, e in particolare alle scolaresche, il frutteto didattico comunitario è un vecchio frutteto di oltre 3000 m2. Situato nella tenuta comunale di Jolivet, è rappresentativo dei frutteti della regione del Lunévillois, messo a disposizione del comune, ospita una trentina di alberi di mele, pere, prugne, ciliegie, cotogne e noci. I frutteti sono inseparabili dall'immagine tradizionale del Lunévillois e dal suo passato di orticoltura.
Un vero e proprio strumento educativo, ma anche una testimonianza di un'epoca in cui la produzione era al servizio delle esigenze locali.
Ogni anno, sotto la supervisione di animatori specializzati, diverse centinaia di bambini attraversano il "Joli-verger" per scoprire la biodiversità ordinaria e il patrimonio paesaggistico o culinario locale.
