Questo palazzo fu ricostruito nella seconda metà del XVIII secolo. Deve il suo nome a uno dei suoi proprietari, Pierre-Antoine-Victor Huot de Goncourt, ex capitano di artiglieria e zio degli scrittori Jules ed Edmond de Goncourt, che lo acquistò nel 1816. Tutto ciò che rimane dell'edificio precedente sono le cantine della fine del XV o XVI secolo sotto l'edificio principale.
Questo edificio è senza dubbio il più bell'esempio di architettura civile neocastrista. Costruito in bugnato, presenta una pianta simmetrica con cinque campate distribuite su tre livelli.
