Situato nell'ex corpo di guardia di fronte alla Citadelle Souterraine di Verdun, il visitatore scopre una museografia che testimonia la vita quotidiana dei soldati seguendo la carriera di Michel Dupré, disegnatore di Mayenne arruolatosi nell'agosto 1914, e quella di Pierre Brancher, fotografo dello stesso reggimento. È esposta la collezione privata di Camille Tridon: disegni, fotografie, oggetti e costumi di Poilus.
Sul posto, un negozio di articoli militari e il ristorante La Cantine des Poilus.
