In der ehemaligen Wache direkt gegenüber der unterirdischen Zitadelle von Verdun gelegen, entdecken die Besucher eine Museographie, die vom Alltag der Soldaten zeugt. Sie folgen dem Werdegang von Michel Dupré, einem Zeichner aus Mayenne, der sich ab August 1914 verpflichtete, und dem von Pierre Brancher, einem Fotografen im selben Regiment. Inszenierung der Privatsammlung von Camille Tridon: Zeichnungen, Fotografien, Gegenstände und Kostüme der Poilus.
Vor Ort gibt es einen Militaria-Shop und das Restaurant La Cantine des Poilus.
