Gunsbach, un villaggio di 920 abitanti, risale al 1278 e il suo nome evoca un torrente paludoso o è associato a un uomo di nome Guno. Fu legato alla famiglia Hattstatt e poi alla famiglia Ribeaupierre. Famosa in tutto il mondo grazie al dottor Albert Schweitzer, la sua casa è oggi un museo visitato da migliaia di persone ogni anno. Da vedere: la chiesa simultanea, il municipio del 1570, l'ex presbiterio e il monumento dedicato ad Albert Schweitzer.
