La biblioteca comunale Simone Veil di Aixe-sur-Vienne è un servizio pubblico gratuito e aperto a tutti, sostenuto dalla Bibliothèque Départementale de la Haute-Vienne.
Più di 10.000 libri per adulti e giovani sono disponibili per la consultazione gratuita in sede o per il prestito a domicilio: romanzi, saggistica, gialli, fumetti, riviste, romanzi per ragazzi, libri per bambini, CD, DVD, ecc.
La biblioteca organizza anche eventi per le famiglie, tra cui letture, attività e laboratori sulla natura, Halloween, Natale, ecc.
