Il vecchio tunnel ferroviario di Le Dattier fa parte dell'ex "Train des Pignes" (Saint-Raphaël – Tolone) lungo la Corniche des Maures.
Il tunnel è lungo circa 285 metri ed è stato scavato a mano alla fine del XIX secolo nel micascisto , una roccia fragile sulla quale non era possibile utilizzare esplosivi.
Ora funge da percorso pedonale e ciclabile (parte della strada europea V65 ), noto come Chemin Pierre Foncin. Il tunnel è rettilineo e illuminato , con corsie pedonali e ciclabili; non è consentito il traffico automobilistico; solo i residenti di Le Dattier possono transitarci.
