L'antic túnel ferroviari de Le Dattier forma part de l' antic Train des Pignes (Saint-Raphaël – Toulon) al llarg de la Corniche des Maures.
El túnel té una longitud aproximada de 285 metres i va ser excavat a mà a finals del segle XIX poc esquist , una roca fràgil en què no es podien utilitzar explosius.
Actualment funciona com a carril bici i de vianants (part de la ruta europea V65 ), conegut com Chemin Pierre Foncin. El túnel és recte i il·luminat , amb carrils per a vianants i ciclistes; no es permet el trànsit de cotxes; només els residents de Le Dattier poden conduir.
