La Scala di Nettuno è una scala di chiuse composta da otto chiuse sul Canale Caledoniano. Costruita da Thomas Telford tra il 1803 e il 1822, è la scala di chiuse più lunga della Gran Bretagna. Il sistema era originariamente azionato a mano ma è stato convertito in un'operazione idraulica.
La Scala di Nettuno a Banavie, vicino a Fort William, appena a nord di Loch Linnhe, è gestita da Scottish Canals. È la chiusa a scala più lunga della Gran Bretagna, sollevando le barche di 64 piedi. È composta da otto chiuse, ognuna delle quali misura 180 piedi per 40 piedi, e ci vogliono circa 90 minuti per le barche per attraversare il sistema.
