Il 10 settembre 1883 la Bala e Festiniog Railway e la Festiniog Railway aprirono quello che sarebbe stato conosciuto come una stazione di interscambio a Blaenau Ffestiniog, Merionethshire, Galles. Merionethshire fa ora parte della contea di Gwynedd.
La stazione era inizialmente chiamata semplicemente "Blaenau Festiniog", essendo stata rinominata Blaenau Ffestiniog Central nel 1951. Ha chiuso ai passeggeri il 4 gennaio 1960 e ha chiuso completamente un anno dopo. La B&FR era parte della Great Western Railway in tutto tranne che nel nome, diventando di proprietà della GWR nel 1910.
