La stazione ferroviaria di Paddington è anche il luogo legato a Paddington Bear. Paddington Bear è un personaggio di finzione nella letteratura per bambini. È apparso per la prima volta il 13 ottobre 1958 ed è stato protagonista di più di venti libri scritti da Michael Bond e illustrati da Peggy Fortnum e altri artisti. Nel 2014, è stato realizzato un film di commedia familiare in live action/animazione al computer basato su Paddington Bear di Michael Bond, il film vede Ben Whishaw come voce del personaggio principale, insieme a Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi e Nicole Kidman in ruoli dal vivo.
