Newtown è un villaggio nella Contea di Tipperary, Irlanda. Si trova sulla strada regionale R494, a 7 km a ovest di Nenagh. Secondo il censimento del 2016, la popolazione era di 309 abitanti. Si trova nella baronia di Owney e Arra. È anche parte della parrocchia di Youghalarra nella Diocesi Cattolica Romana di Killaloe.
Il clima di Newtown è oceanico. Il paese si trova alla base delle Montagne di Arra. Il fiume Newtown nasce vicino a Tountinna e scorre oltre il paese fino alla Baia di Youghal. Il paese è diviso tra le terre di Pallas Beg e Monroe. Ci sono tre complessi residenziali a Newtown e qui ha sede l'Arra Rovers FC. Ci sono due pub e un ufficio postale.
