Appena Cristina ebbe attraversato il Tevere a Borghetto, svoltò a destra: con una piccola parte del suo seguito si diresse a ovest per visitare il Palazzo Farnese a Caprarola e il castello di Paolo Giordano Orsini II a Bracciano. Il resto del corteo si è diretto a sud lungo la Via Lauretana. Il dipinto di Hendrik Frans van Lint (1684-1763) raffigura Borghetto. Oggi il castello di Borghetto è in rovina.
