Il Boschetto di Haarlemmermeer è un'area di 115 ettari, simile a un parco, situata a nord-ovest di Hoofddorp. Il bosco è stato piantato negli anni '70 e nel 1979 è stato aperto ufficialmente al pubblico, evolvendosi in un'attrazione regionale. Nel bosco si svolgono regolarmente eventi, come il Mysteryland annuale e il Concours Hippique. In una parte del bosco si è svolta la Floriade nel 2002, causando la chiusura di quella zona per un periodo e l'accesso durante la Floriade era consentito solo con un biglietto. Ci sono ancora alcuni resti della Floriade 2002 nel bosco, come il padiglione Haarlemmermeer, il centro espositivo e la Big Spotters Hill.
