Wommels è un villaggio nel comune di Súdwest-Fryslân nella provincia di Frisia, nei Paesi Bassi. Nel gennaio 2017 aveva una popolazione di circa 2.216 abitanti. Il villaggio è stato menzionato per la prima volta nella seconda metà del XIII secolo come Wimelinghe, e significa "insediamento del popolo di Winiwald o Wimila." Wommels è un villaggio terpa risalente al medioevo. In seguito il villaggio si è esteso lungo il canale.
