Guidiamo attraverso la Sibbergrubbe (grubbe è un altro termine per strada scavata) dentro Sibbe. Come a Geulhen e Bregen Terblijt, anche qui si trova un labirinto di corridoi sotto il villaggio. Le case in marna sopra provengono quindi dal sotterraneo!! L'estrazione di marna risale già al 15° secolo, il materiale stesso ha circa 70 milioni di anni ed è composto per il 98% da calcare, che a sua volta proviene da miliardi di organismi marini che vivevano qui nel mare di calcare.
