La chiesa e il monastero domenicano formano un complesso neogotico a Zwolle, in Assendorperstraat, nel quartiere di Assendorp. La chiesa è conosciuta anche dagli Zwolle come la Chiesa dei Padri o Chiesa di Tommaso. L'attiguo monastero domenicano ospita i Domenicani. La costruzione della chiesa e del monastero, progettati dall'architetto Johannes Kayser, ebbe inizio il 3 maggio 1900. La prima pietra fu posata quel giorno dal superiore generale Ludovicus Theissling. La consacrazione avvenne il 12 dicembre 1901. Dal 1580 i Domenicani non erano più stati a Zwolle. Fino al 1965 fu un monastero-chiesa aperta, poi divenne il rettorato di San Tommaso d'Aquino.
