La Krakeling è un'area naturale sul lato est di Zeist, a nord della N224 verso Woudenberg. La Krakeling si trova vicino alla Kozakkenput, alla Witte Hull e al Zeisterbos. La Krakeling è costituita per la maggior parte da vergi misti e da torbiere. In queste torbiere si possono trovare specie vegetali come la scirpo, i fiammiferi di brughiera, la fragola selvatica e la ginestra strisciante e spinosa. Ma vivono anche all'interno le averle arboree, le bluette di brughiera e rettili come i vermi di nocciolo e le lucertole di sabbia.
