L'Erfdijk è una piccola diga che si snoda nel paesaggio, che un tempo doveva proteggere il villaggio di Herpen dalle acque del Mosa, che provenivano da sud-est. L'Erfdijk è stata costruita intorno al 1300 ed è quindi una delle prime dighe nel territorio del Mosa.
