Alla sinistra si vede un edificio giallo: Huize Zocher. La storia di Huize Zocher inizia nel 1865, quando l'architetto J. van Ek progettò il monumento nazionale in stile neoclassico. Una caratteristica distintiva di Huize Zocher è lo stile architettonico, che tra il 1864 e il 1870 portò alla costruzione di undici ville sulle opere di difesa del Prinsen Bolwerk ad Haarlem. Originariamente concepito come abitazione nel 1865, l'edificio venne presto utilizzato come ospedale di emergenza e intorno al 1930 assunse la funzione di scuola. Oggi la casa funge da casa di cura.
