In ogni stagione una bella passeggiata in una delle foreste più tranquille della cresta di Utrechtse Heuvelrug. A causa delle (ex) valli di acqua di scioglimento, il percorso è accidentato. A Leersum si trova la tenuta de Hoge Ginkel a 60 metri sul livello del mare e il punto più alto della passeggiata è l'Amerongse Berg (69 metri sul livello del mare), vicino all'Eenzame Eik.

Nota: da 1,1 a 1,8 km dopo la partenza, il sentiero è molto polveroso a causa dell'equitazione intensiva. Questa zona è il campo di allenamento della squadra olandese di equitazione olimpica.
