La piazza Prešeren è una delle piazze incrociate di Lubiana. Prende il nome dal poeta sloveno France Prešeren. Si trova sulla riva sinistra della Ljubljanica, presso il Tromostovje, di fronte al centro storico medievale. A causa della sua posizione, la piazza Prešeren è uno dei punti di transito più importanti di Lubiana. Su di essa si erge il monumento a Prešeren, uno dei monumenti più conosciuti di Lubiana. Questo è il risultato dell'architetto Maks Fabiani, che ha ideato la base e la posizione del monumento all'uscita delle vie Miklošič e Čop. In memoria del poeta France Prešeren, il monumento è stato solennemente scoperto il 10 settembre 1905.
