Wat Nong Lanka è un grande tempio rivolto a est e costruito fuori dalle mura della città nell'area di Aranyik (foresta) nel XIV - XV secolo d.C. quando Nakhon Chum era il centro dell'amministrazione. È circondato da un fossato su quattro lati seguendo la tradizione buddista Lanka Wangsa. Gli edifici del tempio erano disposti in un piano rettangolare. Il chedi principale, a forma di campana nello stile di Sukhothai, era realizzato in mattoni con nicchie su quattro lati. Il chedi principale è composto da una base con tre livelli arretranti a forma di loto capovolto e rialzato, un corpo slanciato del chedi a forma di campana, una forma quadrata che rappresenta un trono, strati di modanature circolari che si ritirano e un pinnacolo a forma di cono.
