Andere curiositeiten op de Markt zijn de standbeelden van de barbier Olivier le Diable (1434-1484), die zijn carrière aan het Franse hof met de galg betaalde, en van Tanneken Sconyncx, de heks die in 1603 onder torture stierf. Zij symboliseert de verlossing voor alle onschuldige slachtoffers die van hekserij beschuldigd werden. De twee werken zijn gemaakt door de in Tielt geboren kunstenaar Jef Claerhout.
