Het dorp Jezus-Eik ontstond als een bedevaartsoord in het midden van het woud. Intussen ligt het aan de rand van het bos en naast de snelweg E411. De vele horecazaken bedienen vandaag veeleer de bosbezoeker dan de bedevaarder en ook de naam van het gemeenschapscentrum ‘de Bosuil’ verwijst naar de band van het dorp met het bos. Het masterplan voor Jezus-Eik wil die band nog versterken. Zo vindt je er alvast een grote speelzone.
Vlakbij vind je ook de toegang tot het Geografisch Arboretum van Tervuren waar je meer dan 400 boomsoorten van over heel de wereld kan ontdekken.
