In Sint-Martens-Lierde, een deelgemeente van Lierde, vind je de overblijfselen van de Kartuizerpriorij die hier tussen 1329 en 1352 uit de grond rees. Je ziet er nog het priorhuis, de indrukwekkende toegangspoort, het gastenkwartier, de procuratorwoning, de schuur, een stuk omwallingsmuur. De abdijkerk doet nu dienst als parochiekerk. Zeer goede akoestiek, pittoresk gelegen.
Aan de Kartuizersite start de Kartuizer wandelroute. Proef het Kartuizerbier in de dorpskroeg.
